LMU’s Shakespeare on the Bluff
LMU's College of Communication and Fine Arts and Theatre Arts Department is delighted to present Shakespeare on the Bluff this summer! All performances are 90 minutes long, family-friendly, free to attend, and open to the public at LMU's new outdoor performance venue, the Drollinger Family Stage, on our gorgeous campus in Los Angeles. Picnics are welcome, and doors open at 6pm.
The Comedy of Errors
June 11, 12, and 13 | 6 p.m.

The seventies sitcom you never knew Shakespeare wrote. Mistaken identity, confused neighbors, angry wives, bewildered husbands, two sets of twins, and a whole lotta wacky, groovy fun, all filmed in front of a live studio audience.
Hamlet
July 9, 10, and 11 | 6 p.m.
Drollinger Family Stage
Something is rotten in the state of Denmark. The time is out of joint. Hamlet – prince, courtier, soldier, scholar, th’ observed of all observers – is told by the ghost of his father to avenge his foul and unnatural murder. So much darkness and mystery hides in Elsinore. O cursed spite, that ever he was born to set it right! Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy brought to the Drollinger Family Stage in our ninth season!
Summer Movie Nights
Summer Movie Nights start at sunset (approximately 8 p.m.) and will be held on O'Malley Lawn, which is located in front of the O'Malley apartments. You can park for free in the Drollinger Parking Plaza. There will be wayfinding signage.

Yoga on the Bluff

Sculpture Garden
Come unwind with us on LMU’s iconic bluff this summer. Join one of our Yoga on the Bluff sessions led by professional instructors. Each one-hour class is designed to help you reset, build strength, and leave feeling refreshed. Mats will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
Fourth of July Parade

Join Iggy and the community for the annual parade, held in partnership with the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce. This year’s theme is "250 years of American dreams."
"Mismeasured" (An Exhibition)

William H. Hannon Library, Von der Ahe Family Suite (Library Level 3)
“Mismeasured,” curated by students in HIST 5400, Senior Seminar, taught by Carla Bittel (LMU Department of History), examines the 19th-century preoccupation with measuring human character through the sciences of physiognomy and phrenology. Visitors will learn how this once-popular use of science and technology defined race, gender, health, and criminality in ways that still impact us today.

Meet in front of Sacred Heart Chapel
Join us for Summer Stride Walks on LMU’s beautiful campus. Held on the third Friday of each month this summer (June - August), these relaxed, one-mile walks are a great way to connect with fellow community members while enjoying the beauty of the bluff. The walks are family-friendly and open to all ages—just note that pets are not permitted. We will meet in front of Sacred Heart Chapel.
Afternoon of Wellness for Older Adults
July 15 | 3:00 p.m.
Emerson Avenue Community Garden (8050 Emerson Avenue)
Join us for a rejuvenating event designed especially for older adults. Connect with your community while nurturing your mind, body, and soul in the beautiful Emerson Ave. Community Garden. The LMU Women's Basketball Team will guide a gentle, energizing stretching clinic, followed by a relaxed mixer with delicious food and refreshments. All levels welcome.
