Are you renting your property to LMU students or considering it? If so, please join us on Tuesday, February 9th at 6:30pm at the Westchester Village Branch Library to learn about local resources that can support you in managing your relationship with student tenants and addressing behavioral problems that may arise.
LMU recognizes that renting a house in Westchester / Playa is the first living experience that many of our students have outside of a childhood home or residential hall. While the vast majority of LMU students integrate in the neighborhood without a problem, there are some students who experience growing pains as they learn what it means to be a good neighbor. To that end, we would like to assist in any way possible to improve the impact that some of our students may have on the neighborhood.
This brief session will feature experienced property managers and representatives from LMU, LAPD, the City Attorney's Office, and the Westchester / Playa Neighborhood Council. The hope is that you will walk away from the session equipped with a number of tools that you can use when working with your current or future student tenants.
